For the last few weeks we’ve been telling you we were coming back to Cologne with something worth the trip. Now we can actually back that up. Level Infinite is bringing several playable titles to gamescom 2026 (August 26–30) in Hall 6, including the first public hands-on demo for one of this year’s most anticipated sequels. Here’s the full picture.
CONTROL Resonant (Remedy Entertainment) — first public hands-on
Remedy Entertainment is bringing CONTROL Resonant to the booth, and this is the first time anyone outside the studio gets a controller in their hands. The action RPG is the sequel to the award-winning Control, coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. As Dylan Faden, you’ll be navigating a paranaturally twisted Manhattan, combining supernatural abilities with a shape-shifting melee weapon against the Hiss, the Mold, and other reality-warping threats. The worldwide launch is September 24, 2026, which means gamescom is your chance to play it before then.

Dune: Awakening (Funcom) — console version, first playable
Funcom’s open-world survival game launched on PC last year, but gamescom 2026 is the first chance for players to get hands-on with the console build. Come to the booth to explore Arrakis, try the crafting and exploration systems, and take a photo in the dedicated themed photo space. If you’ve been waiting to feel how Dune: Awakening plays on a pad, the wait ends in Cologne.

Hunt: Showdown 1896 — new event preview, devs on the floor
The extraction shooter is previewing a new in-game event at the booth. You can play alongside the developers, collect exclusive in-game items and merch, and get under the Blood Moon with a cosplay showcase and photo opportunity. There’s also a never-before-seen Hunter: Raptobot. The expanded public meet and greet runs on Wednesday, August 26.

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
