Indonesia kembali bersiap membawa nama bangsa ke panggung esports internasional melalui ajang Global Esports Games (GEG) 2026. Sejumlah pemain terbaik Tanah Air telah dipersiapkan untuk mengikuti rangkaian kualifikasi di beberapa nomor pertandingan.
Untuk Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Women’s, Indonesia menurunkan enam personel yang terdiri dari lima pemain dan satu pelatih. Mereka adalah Fajria “Violet” Noviana, Xeviola “Xev” Maureen, Livia “Livii” Putri, Olivia “Liv” Wijaya, serta Nadiya “Remund” Bacriun. Sementara posisi pelatih akan diisi oleh Hafizhan “Clover” Mirzaputra.
Kelima pemain tersebut akan berusaha mengamankan tiket Indonesia menuju panggung Global Esports Games 2026 dan menghadapi persaingan dari tim-tim negara lain di nomor MLBB Women’s.
Indonesia juga akan tampil di nomor Rocket League dengan membawa tiga pemain. Dika “RIPOOPI” Utama, Louis “LCT” Thamrun, dan Faishal “Tornado62” Kamil dipercaya untuk memperkuat Timnas Esports Indonesia dalam Rocket League Qualifier.
Sementara itu, dari nomor Counter-Strike 2, Indonesia menurunkan lima pemain, yaitu Achmad “Neorah” Rismana Handachnie, Andre “WasteOfAmmo” Yosua Poluakan, Al “Cielle” Furqan, Muhammad “Marsyy” Sulaiman, dan Jovan “Spicywolfy” Brilliant.
Ketiga nomor tersebut menjadi bagian dari upaya Indonesia untuk mengamankan tempat di Global Esports Games Los Angeles 2026. Dengan roster yang telah diumumkan, perhatian kini tertuju pada perjuangan para pemain Indonesia di babak kualifikasi.
